  • We have just about recovered from Dragon*Con 2004 (Labor Day weekend, Atlanta) where we launched three new limited edition prints. We'd like to thank everyone for the wonderfully enthusiastic response to Charles' most recent works.

  • Charles is continuing work on a series of paintings based on the exotic concepts of his classic fantasy roots.

  • Cover paintings and 24 interior illustrations were recently turned in for the next releases of Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series as republished by Starscape, Tor Books' young adult line.  The two books are The Hunt Begins and More Threads in the Pattern.   (parts one and two of The Great Hunt).

  • Charles was Artist Guest of Honor at SheVaCon 12 in Roanoke, Virginia February 2004.

  • Charles has just completed a painting for the Book Gideon's Wall by Greg Kurzawa, due to be published in September 2003 by Riptide Press.

  • Data Becker has just released its new computer game "Highland Warriors", with a box cover by Charles.

  • The Spring 2002 issue (#4) of "Black Gate: Adventures in Fantasy Literature" featured Charles' painting "Vengeance in Ice" on the cover. This issue went on sale in May.

  • For those of you who've been wondering where "the painting" will end up, the first publication rights for "Held by Honor" were purchased by Tor Books for the cover of Laurie Marks' Fire Logic, which came out in May 2002.

  • The republication of Conan the Rebel by Poul Anderson, as well as Anderson's new novel Mother of Kings both have Keegan jacket art.  They were published this past October and September 2001, respectively, both by Tor.

  • Charles has completed work on cover art for two books in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.  These two volumes are being republished by Tor as part of their new Young Adult line, Starscape, and are due out in January, 2002.

  • "Held by Honor", which won Best in Show at the World Fantasy Convention Art Show in Corpus Christi, Texas in October 2000, has been chosen for inclusion in Spectrum 8: the Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art.   This edition of Spectrum was published in November of 2001.
